Story
AR the Prophet is a dedicated advocate and performer deeply committed to raising awareness about sickle cell disease and men's health as well as advancing reproductive health education. His journey began with notable achievements including presenting at the 6th annual SCCC symposium on Priapism and Men's health and being crowned SCCC Prom King. Embracing his role as an influencer, he collaborated with organizations like Sickle Cell Speaks and initiated Save The Male Trunks, where he created literature and educational materials.
In addition to his advocacy work, AR the Prophet is a multifaceted artist, having ventured into the music industry as a published artist with BMI Broadcast Music Inc.. He produced and wrote music for educational purposes, notably for Agios Pharmaceuticals Inc., and was hired as a performer for various events, including the RED Shoe Gala and the World Sickle Cell Day celebration.
Furthermore, AR the Prophet currently serves as a Director of Engagement for the Sickle Cell Reproductive Health Education Directive (SC RED), actively contributing to the initiative by speaking at events providing educational workshops and addressing men's health issues. His involvement extends to town hall meetings, universities, and conferences nationwide, where he shares his experience and insights. AR the Prophet's dedication culminated in the production of an educational Sickle Cell Album and numerous performances promoting health and well-being within the sickle cell community.
